Results at 2.30pm on 27 February, the online portal minutes later, and university applications straight to each university's own website. The February to March map.

Per MOE's release, the 2025 A-Level results were released on Friday 27 February 2026 at 2.30pm, collected from schools, with online access on SEAB's Candidates Portal from 3.15pm the same day through 11pm on 13 March. A student who cannot collect in person can appoint a proxy with the right documents, or simply read the result online with Singpass.
MOE's instruction is short and worth quoting in spirit: applications to the autonomous universities and their scholarships are submitted online via the respective universities' websites, there is no need to submit a hard copy of the A-Level certificate, and applicants should approach the universities directly for admissions requirements. In practice that means the fortnight after results day is form filling season, and the family conversations about course and campus should have happened before the envelope opens.
For students whose results point a different way, the system keeps doors open: polytechnic applications remain available to former JC students, with CCA bonus points intact, and the routes conversation we map for JC decisions in JC or poly applies in reverse too. MOE's ECG counselling service also ran from 23 February to 19 March 2026 precisely for this window.
The A-Level results fortnight is strange: after two years of structure, the system suddenly hands the wheel entirely to the family, five university portals, scholarship forms, course rankings, all in about two weeks. The students who navigate it well are the ones who did the research in January, when nothing was at stake, and treated results day as a routing decision rather than a starting point.
So do the January homework: shortlist courses for three scenarios, know each university's application window, and write the scholarship essays early, because they are better written calm than triumphant or disappointed. And one more thing I tell every JC2 parent: the number on 27 February routes your child, it does not rate them. Two years of A-Levels deserves a good dinner that night, whatever the letters say.
Private candidates with Singpass use the same Candidates Portal from 3.15pm on results day, and those not eligible for Singpass log in with the account created during exam registration, so nobody needs to travel to collect anything.
School candidates who are international students receive a system generated username by email from 25 February, two days before release, so the login should be tested before the Friday rather than at 3.14pm.
Yes. Beyond school teachers and ECG counsellors, the ECG Centre @ MOE offered online and phone counselling from 23 February to 19 March 2026, weekdays 9am to 5pm and Saturday mornings, alongside MOE's CourseFinder for comparing courses.
