The SEAB PSLE timetable, updated as at 13 February 2026, spreads the exam across three months, and the first date matters most because families consistently underestimate it: the oral, worth a fifth of the English grade, arrives in August, while most revision plans are still aimed at September.

The PSLE calendar has a shape, and the families who see it early hold a real advantage: the exam begins in August and ends in September, so June and July are the whole game. Every year I watch students discover urgency in mid September, two weeks before the written papers, when the students who used the June holidays well are already consolidating instead of learning.
So put the three dates on the wall now, 12 August, 15 September, 24 September, and build backwards. Oral practice in July when it is cheap, past papers through August and early September, and the last fortnight kept for review and sleep rather than new content. A calm P6 September is built in June, and the calendar above is the proof that there is still time to build it.
The timetable staggers 15 September: Mother Tongue listening papers run from 9am, in slots of roughly 30 to 40 minutes by language, while English and Foundation English listening run at 11.15am, so a student sits two listening papers that day with a break between.

MOE's national exam dates page lists private candidate registration for the 2026 GCE exams as 7 April to 20 April 2026, a window that applies to the O, N and A Levels rather than the PSLE, which is sat through schools.
