xiaoxuan zhang — 5/5: Chen LaoShi provides very comprehensive notes and guidance and has prepared my son very well for the O levels. He attained A1 (Distinction) for 普华 in 2024 & A2 (Merit) for 高华 in 2025. Coming from a boy who used to struggle in PSLE for the oral and essay components, we are very thankful that he has improved so much! Thank you Chen LaoShi :)
Un Meng Tai — 5/5: Both of my kids engaged Ms Chen for their O-level HCL in the past 3 years. They love her lessons as they are very structured and applicable to life and exams. I bought her oral practice book for them and the content was superb. The insights given were applicable to oral and written exams. What makes Ms Chen stand out is her dedication and care for each of her students. I accidentally found an encouragement note written by her to my son before his exam. It really warmed my heart! Thank you Ms Che
Gloria L — 5/5: 陈老师 is a very kind and helpful teacher! Generally, each lesson is dedicated to one component such as Paper 2. There are lots of opportunities to practice as 陈老师 will print out worksheets with questions you can do. 陈老师 is also very 幽默 so the lessons are quite enjoyable. Sometimes she will also go through news if it is very relevant to our studies (e.g. Green Plan 2030). I would definitely recommend 陈老师！
sherie tan — 5/5: i’ve been with chenlaoshi for three years and she has helped me broaden my worldviews outside of textbook content!! she makes an effort to connect with all of her students and is always readily available to answer questions even outside of lesson time. she knows what moe wants and always highlights good phrases and articles that can be used to boost scores, and always provides extra practices with specific and helpful feedback. her model compos and answering schemes are very comprehensive and ar
szeying Lim — 5/5: Ms Chen was highly recommended by a friend and we are very happy to have engaged her. She has helped my kid improve tremendously especially in his essay from his usual 27/40 to 35 and above. He also looks forward to her lessons every week as her lessons are interesting and fun. She is also very encouraging and inspirational. She is very responsive to any additional question beyond lesson time. Thanks so much Ms Chen, we are very appreciative of all you have done!
