Yi Xian — 5/5: I was a student of Mr Alex's H2 Biology class, and I cannot fully put into words how grateful I was for his help leading up to my A levels. Mr Alex never failed to make lessons engaging, and his unique way of delivering lessons made comprehending and remembering complicated concepts much easier. He was also a tutor who often lifted the mood with his light-hearted jokes and attending his lessons was not only fruitful but stress-relieving. This review would not be complete without mentioning Mr Al
Joanne Tan — 5/5: Terence Chia was my daughter’s tutor for H2 Math. He is a very good tutor both in teaching the subject as well as being a mentor. He knows his students’ strengths and weaknesses and helps them accordingly. This is an uncommon and commendable trait which reflects a teacher who cares. As a parent, I truly appreciated this.
Terence encouraged my daughter to accept the school’s offer to take up H3 Math when she was doubtful of her own suitability. She eventually scored a merit! The score aside, my
Nidhish Krishnan — 5/5: My Biology in J1 was consistently at a U grade, and I struggled a lot with understanding the concepts and memorising. After starting lessons with Alex, my understanding of the subject improved significantly. His explanations were always clear and structured, and he shared his own handwritten notes which were very helpful for revision before exams. He was also very responsive whenever I had questions outside of class, which made it much easier to clarify doubts quickly. With his guidance and the
Norman Poon — 5/5: I am incredibly grateful to Mr Alex, my H2 Biology tutor at Higher Nucleus, for his guidance and support through my JC journey. He is an extremely dedicated and caring teacher who will always go the extra mile to support us, and has been an instrumental part of my improvement in Biology. He created many additional resources for us to use in our learning and revision that came in very helpful for such a content-heavy subject, and whenever we text him questions that we are unsure about, he will al
Kate Chen — 5/5: Mr Chia is the best Math teacher I have ever had! He is patient and his notes are so informative, he stresses the most important parts of the math syllabus and predicts questions very well! He is also very caring and has called me to explain questions so I can better understand.
10/10 would recommend you to join Higher Nucleus!
Thanks to him, I got an A for H2 Math!! Thank you so much, Mr Chia!!
