Searching for what the Integrated Programme actually is? Start with MOE's own secondary school finder, which filters by programme and PSLE score range, then read our full breakdown of how IP works.

Update, 23 September 2026: we have since published You Don't Need to Know What the Integrated Programme Is Before You Start School Hunting, which covers what happens next.
Type "what is Integrated Programme" into a search bar and you will find plenty of summaries, but the label alone will not tell you whether a specific school runs it, or whether your child's likely PSLE score falls inside that school's range. That detail lives on each school's own page, not in a generic explainer.
MOE's own secondary school page lets you search by location, CCA, subject, programme and PSLE score range directly. That is the fastest way to check whether a specific school actually runs a given programme, rather than relying on a summary written months or years earlier.
MOE says schools are resourced "to offer customised programmes such as Holistic Assessment, Values in Action and Programme for Active Learning to meet the needs of students". Different schools also offer a variety of programmes to develop their students' varied interests and abilities.
The Integrated Programme sits inside that same wider set of options. That is why Podsee's own explainer on how IP actually works is worth reading before you commit to chasing it by name alone.
Programme decisions for the year ahead line up with the exam calendar below. The 2026 PSLE results are tentatively released between 24 and 25 November 2026, and families who did not go through DSA-Sec then move into the S1 posting process.
| Exam | 2026/27 results release window (tentative) |
|---|---|
| PSLE | 24 to 25 November 2026 |
| N-Level (N(A) and N(T)) | 17 to 21 December 2026 |
| O-Level | 13 to 15 January 2027 |
| A-Level | 19 to 23 February 2027 |
Once results are out, read our breakdown of how PSLE scores decide Express, O-Level or IP posting and of S1 posting choice order and tie breakers.
While you wait for that window to open, many parents also start comparing support for the year ahead, from tuition centres in Bukit Timah to smaller neighbourhood options, so the search is not left to the last week of November.
I would check the school before I chase the name. I know that sounds backwards when Integrated Programme is the exact phrase parents type into a search bar, but a three letter label in a group chat cannot tell you which school actually runs it, or whether your child's likely score sits inside that school's range, and MOE's own secondary school page already lets you search by location, CCA, subject, programme and PSLE score range in one place.
IP is also only one name on a longer list, because MOE resources schools to offer customised programmes such as Holistic Assessment, Values in Action and Programme for Active Learning, and different schools build their own mix on top of that. In three years of tutoring the thing I see most often is a family who settled on a name first, then spent months trying to bend the score to fit the plan.
So there is time to do it the other way round, with the 2026 PSLE results tentatively released between 24 and 25 November 2026, just over 9 weeks away. Open the finder together, compare the shortlist against what your child genuinely enjoys, and results day becomes the day you choose rather than the day you scramble.
The SLS is one of MOE's key initiatives to transform how Singapore students learn, using technology to support different learning modes, including self-directed and collaborative learning, according to MOE.
National Education (NE) was launched in 1997, with the aim of building national identity and a spirit of togetherness among students, according to MOE.
MOE reports about 32,000 education officers, an increase of 4,000 from five years earlier, plus 2,200 Allied Educators under the Allied Educator Scheme that started in 2009.
