PSLE, N-Level, O-Level and A-Level results land in the same order every cycle. The pattern, the 2026 to 2027 windows, and what opens the moment each one drops.

Each release has its own playbook post: PSLE results day, the N-Level December sprint, the O-Level January playbook and the A-Level to university map. The pattern holds because each admission exercise feeds the next school year's January and February starts.
MOE publishes the windows as tentative and confirms the exact day closer to release, which is worth respecting in two directions: do not book the unmissable family event inside a results window, and do not trust any site quoting an exact day before MOE and SEAB announce it. The two to five day windows above are the honest state of knowledge for the 2026 exams.
Families treat results dates as emotional milestones, and they are, but the system treats them as triggers, and that difference is where children get hurt. Every release opens an admission window measured in days, so the family still processing the number is simultaneously on the clock, and the processing always loses to the deadline.
So use the pattern this page exists to show: the dates repeat, year after year, in the same order and the same months, which means the decisions can be drafted before the emotions arrive. Shortlists in the weeks before, scenarios talked through at dinner, and the release day itself reduced to opening an envelope and executing a plan the family already owns. The child whose parents did that homework gets to spend results day being a child with a result, rather than a project with a deadline, and that is a gift entirely within your control.
Because its admission exercise is the longest: the S1 option window, posting and school reporting all happen before the new school year starts in January, so the PSLE must clear November while the GCE levels can run into the new year, feeding JC, poly and university starts in February and beyond.
No level is online only, but every level now has an online channel: PSLE and GCE results are collected at schools with online access through SEAB's Candidates Portal, and the A-Level precedent shows the portal opening within the hour of physical release, with proxy collection available for absent students.
MOE and SEAB announce the confirmed date shortly before each release, typically via press release about a week ahead, the 20 February announcement of the 27 February A-Level release being the recent example of the rhythm.
